Pan Fried Chickpeas with Cumin, Garlic & Lemon
Try this recipe for Pan Fried Chickpeas with Cumin, Garlic & Lemon, you won’t regret it.
Chickpeas is one of my favorite things to buy in a can, they are cheap, packed with flavor and proteins and can be used for a lot more than hummus. This chickpea recipe do actually have similar flavors to hummus but instead of mixing them I roast them in a pan with garlic, onion, cumin and then add some fresh lemon juice that gives the earthy flavors a great contrast. This is best served as a side for meat or fish but could also be used a filling for burritos or stuffed pita bread.
